License

Lunos is open source under the MIT License.

What it covers

The Lunos CLI and everything else in the AxsionDev/Lunos repository. Lunos is a fork of opencode, which is MIT-licensed too, so both copyright holders appear in the notice: opencode, and ITService EOOD, the Bulgarian company that maintains Lunos.

Contributing

Contributions are accepted under the same MIT terms, with a Developer Certificate of Origin sign-off (git commit -s) on every commit. Signing off transfers no copyright, and there is no CLA to sign.

Paid additions (planned)

ITService EOOD plans paid additions, such as a hosted service (Lunos Cloud) and team features. They will be new code in separate repositories, under their own licences: source-available (FSL-1.1-MIT, which becomes MIT two years after each release) for code shipped to customers, and proprietary for code that only runs on our servers. Everything in this repository stays MIT, and nothing in it will move behind a paywall. See the licensing policy.
